Rules for the Ground Zero Football Pool

Cost:   $20.00 per entry, per season due by the start of the regular season.

Prize:   Winner takes half the pot. The other half will be used as a softball fundraiser.

Object of the game: To have the best overall record at the end of the NFL regular season.

Rules: The rules are simple. Pick one team each week to win their game. You cannot pick the same team more than once in the NFL regular season. (So basically you are picking seventeen different teams throughout the season.)

Your picks must be reported prior to the start of the season, otherwise you will forfeit the games that have been played, thus resulting in losses.

All standings and a list of previous and available team selections for each team will be available at the following web site: www.groundzerosoftball.com

Provide a team name to be used as a reference to your standings and picks on the web site.

Winner: At the end of the regular season, the person with the best record wins the half of the pot. In the case of a tie the persons with the top score of the NFL regular season will continue into Overtime.

In Overtime, each team that was tied for first place will choose one wildcard team from the NFL season. The individual with the best wild card record throughout the playoffs will be declared the winner. In case of a tie in Overtime the tied teams will advance to Sudden Death.

Sudden Death requires that the tied teams from the Overtime round predict the total score of the Super Bowl. If there is a tie in the Sudden Death round, the tied teams will split the prize money.
